How Do You Have A Brazilian Wax With Knickers On

INA LOITZL - "pretty scary" / "The cellar is dark"

On the way to the Museum Quarter Naschmarkt ran towards Prince and I managed along the grain market and the Kro Art Contemporary to gain our attention at first glance, we saw only red and pink things hanging from the ceiling.

We went in and saw the works of Ina Loitzl: the artist deals with the human - but especially female, body: sexual organs, lung or heart reconstructed from textiles and plastics in conjunction with techniques such as crochet, knitting and sewing light in bright colors - to stunning images and video installations. Loitzl recognizes the problem that part of the body to know that you can not see, can not touch.

The gallery offered to us in the basement to the second part of the exhibition - "it's dark in the basement" to look at. We have been through the office, through a door, through the courtyard and the Stairs lead down. We were unlocked and we were alone in an old cellar, which is lit only by blue light.

Various artists, like Beatrice Hecht, Michael Mandel, and of course Ina Loitzl decorated the room with television, which were lodged on the ground and in every corner of my kind of installation was connected to a video.
"mousetrap", Ina Loitzl

Both parts until 30 to see April, 2010 Kro Art Contemporary .

Making Red Skin Back To Normal

I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive in Hamburg

Replacing Closet Flange From

New Year's Eve 1952/53, West Virginia: At a traffic stop, the sheriff a light blue Cadillac. After looking into the back seat, he says, the man could see there fucking dead. The 17-year-old driver replied that it was Hank Williams, who would rest for his next appearance. He does not know that he is driving for hundreds of miles a dead body. In addition to the 29-year-old Williams is an empty bottle of vodka, and quite a lot of chloral hydrate tablets. Hours, before he also injected morphine for his back pain. His doctor is very quick to spot the country star still owes the $ 700. In Hank Williams Pocket, a cocked revolver. In his early concerts, he had knuckles distributed to his band: "The you need, when you stand with me." This week, Hank Williams number one on Billboard's charts with the song "I'll never get out of this world alive".
Wolfgang Büld travel and Olaf Kraemer tipsy to Alabama - in the footsteps of Hank Williams. Relatives, companions and witnesses - who live today in large part no more - tell and sing about the events in his life from childhood to self-destruction of a rock and roll died in the first hour.

Benzocaine Cream For Condoms

Peter Seelig - My Artists Journal

A black sign with white inscription "Black Box" led prince and me through a corridor into an atelier-like gallery - the Time Gallery, right a room with a window for woolen line, which is equipped with a simple wooden table and hung the walls with sketches and drawings Seelig of Peter.

Assuming, in the other direction quickly found the explanation for the street sign. A black-painted room with additional drawings by the artist, a semi-Covered piano at the end of the long room. On the ground, something insignificant, but with red light illuminated the sculpture:

The (unfortunately their website is not updated) Gallery Time Peter Seelig shows until March 13!

Old Dune Buggies For Sale In Ontario

review - bäckerstrasse4

Together with Prince, we browsed the bookstore Lia Wolf . On the way back we walked past a still unknown to us-white gallery space with black soil and the receptionist at a small built-in kitchen. The platform bäckerstrasse4 selected quarterly based on a jury of unknown artists, which they imagine.

Elisabeth Wedenig

Wedenig stunning images - paintings, such as graphics, which are often related to travel, collages are abstract and easily with stunning colors. Prince and I loved this picture and it was not surprising that it is already sold.

Another artist who has exhibited at the time, Gernot Fischer-Kondratovitch is - born in Villach, which most often works with painting. His paintings are often isolated people - surrounded by flying birds? No, falling humans. Getting closer to the image look closer, you see the swarms of little men falling from the sky.
